Back to school

Many of us have very fond memories of going back to school in September. The crisp fall air, the beauty of the leaves turning colour and the sense of a new beginning filled us with excitement and anticipation. However, for some, going back to school is not easy. Instead of being excited, some children experience a high degree of anxiety because of social or academic issues. Others may have learning difficulties or may have been diagnosed with ADHD or other conditions that make being in the classroom a difficult task in and of itself.

Now that my son Charlie has started school, I understand as a parent how important you want your child to not only have a good education, but also to make it a place filled with friends and fond memories for the future. Our Naturopathic Doctors work extensively with pediatric patients to help them with the problems discussed above. Feel free to book an appointment with one of our ND’s to find natural ways to optimize learning, calm anxieties, and help to make this school year the best one yet for your child!
