Waist Management

Waist Management is a small group class designed to focus on strengthening the core muscles (abdominals and back). While traditional floor exercises tend to affect the more superficial layer of the abdominal muscles, this class offers a wide variety of exercises using many modalities such as Pilates, Yoga, Stability Ball, BOSU, Medicine Ball, and balance to target the deeper tissue. It has been proven that strengthening the abdominals reduces the risk of low back injuries. Waist Management offers variations and/or modifications to the exercises, making it conducive to all levels of fitness.
