One of the oldest and most powerful methods of treating acute and chronic pain. It involves the insertion of 5 to 20 very fine needles at different points on the body, to stimulate the flow of energy, also called QI (*chee*). Three to eight sessions will be required, depending on the health challenge. Acupuncture also reduces inflammation and stimulates the body’s own healing abilities. According to the World Health Organization, these are the health challenges that respond favorably by Acupuncture.
